Bolton Day Nursery has recently gone through a refurbishment that will benefit staff, yourselves and more importantly, the children. £60,000 has been spent as part of a £1 million investment by Asquith on refits and resources for the children.
The outdoor area has had a complete overhaul, with new soft pore on the ground, fencing across the whole of the garden, a climbing frame for the under 2’s, a rope swing, and a water feature. All resources in the outdoor learning environment enable children to investigate, explore, discover, experiment and develop their large motor skills. The provision of the new fencing and soft pore provides safety features to enable the children to roam and explore freely.
Internally the nursery looks refreshed and more pleasing on the eye. Lighting has been upgraded along the corridors and brand new notice boards have been installed. For yourselves, the Parent Room has seen a refresh, providing you with a comfortable area to relax.
Interactive white boards with educational software, has been installed in the Pre-School Room. Children will benefit from first hand experiences of the interactive boards, computers and programmable toys.
We have digital signage within the reception area that gives you up to the minute information about the nursery.
Safety is the utmost importance to Asquith and the safety of the children has been enhanced with the provision of a new and modern security system on the entrance.
Bolton Day Nursery is the first of our nurseries that has benefited from a refurbishment of this kind. We are very excited by the opportunities it is providing the children and we hope you enjoy the experience within this nursery.
