Bristol Day Nursery is a bright and welcoming nursery accommodating up to 45 children aged 3 months to 5 years old, within the David Lloyd Leisure Centre. The nursery also has a separate crèche facility for David Lloyd Club members, open throughout the week. Ideal for commuters, we are conveniently situated next to Long Ashton park and ride facilities opposite Ashton Court Estate. Our parents have access to the David Lloyd Leisure Club’s large car park.

Our large and air-conditioned rooms offer a warm, loving and stimulating environment for children of all ages. Each room has a wide variety of planned activities, toys and resources designed to enhance the childrens’ development stages. Our experienced and qualified staff team provides the care and commitment which both parent and child needs.

Our Baby Room is our largest room in the nursery, accommodating 15 babies aged 3 months to 18 months in a warm and friendly environment. We work closely with our parents to ensure all babies’ routines are met to the best of our ability.

Our Nursery Room accommodates up to 12 children aged 18 months to 2 years and 10 months. The room is vibrant and spacious with its own toilet facilities. Children have the ability to follow their own interests and participate in planned activities.

Our Pre-School Room is a busy and exciting environment for up to 18 children aged 2 years and 10 months to 5 years. Continuous provision and free-flow allows children to move freely around the indoor and outdoor environments. This is further enhanced with daily activities designed to develop childrens’ communication, language and literacy skills prior to starting school.

We have our own trained cook who prepares our nutritional meals meals in the David Lloyd kitchen. We also cater for any special dietary requirement or preferences.

Outside, you’ll find a secure, self contained garden, which was recently resurfaced with safety flooring. The garden offers plenty of opportunities for physical, sensory and imaginative play for children of all ages. Our babies have a separate area where they can enjoy the fresh air in safety.

We regularly organise special activities for our 3 to 5 year olds. Our Stretch & Grow exercise classes are held weekly and are greatly enjoyed by the children. The children also enjoy frequent walks and picnics in nearby Ashton Court Estate.
