Based in the David Lloyd Club within Brighton Marina, Brighton Day Nursery is extremely convenient, with easy access and lots of free parking in the multi-storey car park opposite. We also have a crèche facility for David Lloyd Club members, open throughout the week. Crèche sessions need to be booked in advance.

We have four spacious rooms where children from 3 months to 5 years are cared for by our qualified and experienced staff team of 20. Each room is bright and colourful with a wide variety of toys and resources providing a stimulating and safe environment for children of all age groups. Our rooms have recently been fitted with sustainable wooden furniture specifically designed for children. Continuous provision and free-flow allows children to access all areas and follow their own interests. We work closely with parents to ensure that each child is able to develop to their full potential.

Our Baby Room accommodates up to 9 babies aged 3 months to 12 months. We work closely with parents to ensure each babies’ routine is met to the best of our ability. The room is divided into areas which stimulate babies’ sensory explorations.

Our Toddler Room provides a wide collection of opportunities to enhance children’s walking and balancing, language, creative and emotional development, with free-flow to our outdoor facilities throughout the day. We can accommodate up to 15 children aged 12 months to 2 years. We also have a separate sleep room.

Our Nursery Room is colourful and attractive, with displays of the children’s work. We can accommodate up to 15 children aged 2 years to 3 years. The children learn through a combination of planned activities, play, and first hand experiences both indoors and outdoors.

Our Pre-School is full of life, opportunities to learn, play and explore. We take up to 20 children aged 3 to 5 years. The room is divided into various areas of learning and development, emphasis is placed on communication, language and literacy skills required prior to starting school.

Our nursery also offer School Days which is where you have the option for us to care for your children in any of our rooms for the length of the school day, from 9.00am till 3.30pm. This enables you to match up your childcare with other children you may have attending full-time school.

Outside, in our large outdoor play area, over twos and under twos play safely in their own separate gardens, fitted with a climbing frame, picnic equipment and a shady gazebo for hot summer days. Along with the wide variety of resources children have the opportunity to plant and grow vegetables in our vegetable garden. In addition, we have access to the David Lloyd Club dance studio where regular ballet classes are held.

A dedicated chef within the David Lloyd Club kitchen prepares our meals from Asquith’s renowned recipes. We serve a wide variety of hot and cold meals and cater for dietary requirements and preferences.

Regular social events for our parents are organised throughout the year. We hold two informative Parents Evenings and many special events, including a School Leavers Graduation party, a Summer Tea party and a Christmas party.
