Testimonials about Edinburgh Day Nursery
Both my children have attended Edinburgh Day Nursery.
When I’ve left them in the morning, I have comfort that they are in a safe environment.
Both have enjoyed the activities and experiences and made many friends.
As well as this, I have always found the staff in the rooms friendly and the management always listen and act quickly on feedback.
A Nursery Room then Pre-school Room Parent - June 2016
In our experience, Edinburgh Day Nursery is a friendly, warm and organised environment where our 2 year old son enjoys playing, learning and interacting with other children and staff. Having previously been at another nursery in Edinburgh, we can see how the staff here work hard to help the children feel safe and secure as well as creating lots of varied learning situations and ways to have fun. The food provided is varied, healthy and fresh and keep him well nourished for all the activities! As Parents, we are kept well informed of changes and any day to day issues of concern.

I know my daughter is in very safe hands when I leave her.
Parent - January 2016
Fantastic staff, my son has really developed since attending the nursery and seems to really enjoy his time there.
Parent - January 2016
My daughter was at another children's nursery in Edinburgh for a year which she appeared to be very happy at, being our first child everything concerning her is a completely new and exciting experience for me and her Dad. When we used to drop her off in the mornings there was always some form of distraction technique that had to be used while either me or her Dad crept out the room and on collecting her she was always extremely smiley and happy to see us.
Until now, I have had nothing to compare her happiness at the nursery to, and just assumed the above was due to her obviously loving me and her Dad and not liking to see us leave and being happy to see us return.
Since starting at this nursery everything has changed, we pull into the driveway and she is babbling and smiling her wee head off in her car seat and runs straight in, she gives me and her Dad cuddles blows kisses and waves goodbye - something which we had never experienced before! I believe if she could talk she would say "Thanks for bringing me here Mum!" On collection, it takes a good 10 minutes to get her to leave, she is just so happy at this nursery she doesn't want to go.
I have had friends and family comment on how much happier within herself she seems to be, how much more sociable she is and how much her language has improved, it's still early days at the nursery, but for her to be showing these characteristics within one week of is absolutely mind blowing!
It was one of the more expensive nurseries I looked at, but since she has started and I can already see the massive changes in her behaviour and happiness the money doesn't even come into it what so ever, it is worth every single penny.
So from myself and her Dad - you really are all doing such a wonderful job, those with children will understand how difficult it is leaving your most precious, perfect and loved child with people you know little about and trust them to care for them as well as you do. But you really have, she already has a bond with the members of staff within the nursery room, something that was never evident to me previously. Thank you for giving my baby girl the best start in life, you have exceeded my expectations of what to expect within a nursery.
